[Libav-user] Streaming of merely jpeg file

Hi,

 

I'm trying to implement libav library into embedded device with linux. For
test I want to open just one .jpg file and stream it to through UDP and see
it in VLC player.

 

I took two .jpg file: first I get from video file using ffmpeg command and
second I just made in Gimp. The first .jpg file I can stream without
problem, but in second case VLC player doesn't show picture and even stops
listen to port.

 

What kind of .jpg file I can't use by libav? Is it possible to filter it or
transcode?
