I imaging that the video processing takes more time than is available
between receiving the packet and getting the next one which is probably
the first of 4 or 5 audio packets. I also imaging that you write those
audio packets before the video packet ahead of them is done with its
processing. I might expect certain writers to not handle those moments
when your packets are not in order. And once they are in a file/stream,
they can hammer on the playback mechanism to the point that the out of
sync issue appears far worse than it actually is.
