[Libav-user] Stream mapping and multi program muxing with FFmpeg mpegts

Hi,

Can anyone either explain, or point me to a good explanation of how FFmpeg
handles muxing with the mpegts muxer?  I have split a multi program stream
in to seperate files, but I am having a hard time wrapping my mind around
how FFmpeg stream routing api works.  What is a good resource to learn
about that short of reading the source code?  What I need to do is output a
multi program mpeg transport stream.
