[Libav-user] x264 encoder settings

Hi, I'm trying to use ffmpeg to stream rtmp streams to Youtube. Youtube
recommends below settings for x264 encoder:

Frame types:Progressive Scan, 2 B-Frames, 1 Reference FrameI'm not sure
what the "2 B-Frames, 1 Reference Frame" mean.

Could anyone let me know their meaning and how to set them in ffmpeg? Thanks
