Thanks very much for the detailed response, you completely confirmed our
assumptions. We are in process of getting feedback from x264 as well, of
course. We just wanted to know the point of view of ffmpeg community on
this matter.
We'll proceed with our feasibility study regarding commercial x264 usage in
ffmpeg a compliant way.
