[Libav-user] The newly released ffmpeg2.2 cannot work onWindows XP, can it?

Thanks for your reply and information. I've read the website that you offered, but I still want to try compiling x265 on XP.Anyway, thanks for your information and please let me know if you have any idea.

How did you compile?

Please understand that FFmpeg does not provide any binaries 
for download (no "products"), only source code.
Independent third parties offer downloads, if you have 
problems with those downloads, please report them there!

In this case, the issue is known, either x265 or xp 
have to be dropped, see:
