[Libav-user] Modern C tutorials on reading frames and converting them to ppm

I am currently using the following C tutorial:

I thought this one would work better than drangers ~8 year old tutorial but
alas there are still many deprecated or removed functions since this was
written.

Can anyone recommend a tutorial that uses the latest versions of
libav/ffmpeg libraries?
