[Libav-user] How is bitrate determined when call ffmpeg executable without bitrate parameter

Hi all,

If run ffmpeg executable directly to convert a video file, for example
ffmpeg -i file_in.mp4 file_out.mpg

How will the output file bitrate be calculated?
