I have to get frames from RTSP server for rendering using OpenGL. I pretty
new here, Are there any sample programs that work as RTSP client?

Playing with stream means?

 

You can use mplayer for playing it or can create your own player like
mplayer using ffmpeg. Yeah all the feature you have mentioned are very well
supported by libav.

 

VLC is also using libav for many codecs.
