[Libav-user] lossless encoding with FFMPEG

I heard that h264 has a lossless encoding mode. Is this true? if so, how can I set this using FFMPEG?

if that's not possible, what's my best option to get lossless video encoding with FFMPEG? (performance is not an issue, just compression ratio)
