[Libav-user] Trim implementation

Trying to implement the c equivalent of these via the libav libraries:
ffmpeg -i input.wav -ss 0 -t 30 output.wav
or 
ffmpeg -i input.mp3 -ss 0 -t 30 output.wav

There doesn't seem to be any examples related to trimming audio. Any suggestions or simple examples would be appreciated.
