[Libav-user] Question about dump stream programmatically.

I read the ffmpeg.c which dumps stream in transcode function.
It means we need an encoder/decoder pair to do that.
Is it possible to save the unmodified data (un-demuxing)
from the origin streaming server?
Or, is other way to do that by libav ?

We already have a playback leveraged by libav's decoder/demuxer,
and planing to record the origin stream for listening in later.
