[FFmpeg-user] Non deterministic artifacts in h264 full HD live streams

Hello,
I have been experiencing artifacts when playing nvenc h264 encoded videos.

I am using ffmpeg’s nvenc integration to encode the video, and I play the
encoded video with ffplay.
Every time I see an artifact I also get two ffmpeg error logs:

   1. left block unavailable for requested intra/intra4x4 mode (-1)
   2. error while decoding MB * *, bytestream *

I used the trace log level and saw that the artifacts occur when receiving
an IDR NAL unit. The ffplay version I am using is 4.2.4.

I would be grateful to receive possible solutions for this issue, and would
be glad to answer any follow up questions that might come up.
