The repository is in my ppa ie. deb
https://ppa.launchpadcontent.net/ubuntuhandbook1/ffmpeg7/ubuntu/ jammy main
I did an "apt update" and "apt upgrade" . It didn't upgrade ffmpeg to 7 , I
still have the same version. I also did an "apt install ffmpeg" and it said
the newest version is already installed which is the 4.4.2 version. Could
another ppa have more priority installing ffmpeg? I really appreciate the
help.
