Thanks again. I managed to get it to work
-filter_complex "[0:a]abitscope=r=24000/1001[a]" -map "[a]"
"[0:a]", even though there's only 1 audio stream. Oh, well.
Unfortunately, 'abitscope' doesn't do anything useful. Just pictures of six bands that look like
Excel, and no measurements. Useless.
