[FFmpeg-user] recording livestream hangs indefinitely

Hey,

sometimes when I record a hls livestream with ffmpeg, it randomly hangs
indefinitely without any error message.

My guess is that there is a connection drop on the server side of some sort
that doesn't actually end the stream

Is there anyway to make it exit gracefully? or at least make it drop the
connection

I tried the timeout options but they don't seem to work
