Ah, thank you. That was the issue. 

Clip1 = 32 kHz
Clip2 = 48 kHz

I can upsample/downsample if needed, but would prefer not to if possible. Is there an ffmpeg option that allows each clip to retain its original audio sample rate in the final output?
