[FFmpeg-user] How to signal "binaural"?

Hi,

is there a recommendation or best practice to signal "binaural" audio with FFMPEG?
Technically it's only "stereo", sure.

I can a lot of options here

scaled for channel-based and ambisonics, too.
Even a definition for "channel layout stereo downmix".
The latter, IMHO, would justify also a dedicated description for "binaural".

Any thoughts or suggestions?
