[FFmpeg-user] ffplay video hangs/freezes

Dear community,

I'm using ffplay to display an incoming stream from /dev/video0 on a
raspberry pi4.
The video freezes after some time (20-60 seconds). I have to stop or close
the player and restart it, and so on.
When the hang occurs, the incremented frame counter stops at the same
number as shown below:

What does it mean?
Does that mean that there is no new incoming frame or no outgoing frame?
