I was submitting an ffmpeg trac bug report for the 'telecine' filter, but richardpl closed it as
'invalid' because it was not based on the nightly build. That pretty much makes any trac report by a
user like me automatically 'invalid'. I've given up because attempting to install the cross-compiler
needed to compile nightly builds trashed my Linux and I had to restore the VM from backup.
