I can't build, Jim. The build system, meson, is down-rev and, though I located & downloaded a newer 
version, I can't get Synaptic to install it.

I only use Linux to browse the Internet and handle email. Maybe I can find a way to upgrade meson 
0.40 to 0.54 via a command line.
