Hi,
Working with named pipes on Windows seems to be a little bit odd.
See the following:
PS C:\Users\Adam> ffmpeg -v quiet -t 1 -f lavfi -i color=c=black:s=640x480
-c:v vp9 -f rawvideo pipe://somepipe
éIâB '≡ ÷ 8$ ╪ Pa÷:÷Ç\╤ε fΦq¥3íÄ:x╤ß╟O G,⌠LÇfΦq¥3íÄ:x╤ß╟O G,⌠LÇå @Æ [

~X@ⁿα~å @Æ£ D! Ç X@ⁿα~X@ⁿα~
(i.e. that's going to stdout)
PS C:\Users\Adam> ffmpeg -v error -t 1 -f lavfi -i color=c=black:s=640x480
-c:v vp9 -f rawvideo \\.\pipe\somepipe
\\.\pipe\somepipe: No such file or directory
I note that *input* pipes seem to be working from another post on this
list, but I haven't seen n example of a working command to encode output to
a pipe.
