[FFmpeg-user] HLS encoded video dropping audio when seeking past buffer on Safari?

Hi! I'm new to video encoding.

Some of my HLS encoded videos via ffmpeg drop the audio when seeking past
the buffer (on Safari only AFAIK). The only way to sync the audio and video
up again is to restart the video.

What might be causing this?  Any ideas on how to diagnose this issue?
