Hi,
I am trying to simulate an input stream from the web (but on the local machine) as ffmpeg has a problem creating a gif from a mp4 using a stream, but only on some files.
cat .\a8ddbbcacc224b427f5b7ca14bdf41b692291730.MP4 | .\ffmpeg\bin\ffmpeg.exe -i pipe:0 -ss 3 -t 5 -f gif -vf scale=-1:120 -r 5 -y test.gif

I have tried using the faststart command and running from the new file, however this also errors.

pipe:0: Invalid data found when processing input
If I run ffmpeg without the pipe command it is successful in creating the gif.
.\ffmpeg\bin\ffmpeg.exe -i .\a8ddbbcacc224b427f5b7ca14bdf41b692291730.MP4 -ss 3 -t 5 -f gif -vf scale=-1:120 -r 5 -y test.gif
Do you have any idea how to fix this?
Thanks
