Friendly ffmpeg folks,
I'm having newb issue getting ffmpeg to transcode an avi file to an archive format using ffv1.
I've studied (a term used loosely) the FFV1 encoding cheatsheet on the wiki - thank you, but still can't get a clean execution. Obviously, I'm not prepared for the "Cheat Sheet" version, but I could not find the "remedial"
documentation on the Wiki so please stop laughing.
I'm running Windoze 10 on a Xeon Hex core and I'd like to get the benefit of those cores so I was trying to use the "threads" and "slices" appropriately.
ffmpeg -i testvdub.avi -acodec copy -vcodec ffv1 -level 3 -threads 8 -coder 1 -context 1 -g 1 -slices 4 - slicecrc 0 testvdub.mkv
My command prompt window follows: (really, stop laughing)

Okay, so it's probably some simple syntax issue. Any further guidance or resources for creating archive (lossless) videos with FFv1, especially for animation files, would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance and enjoy the laugh.
