[FFmpeg-user] ffprobe not working in command line

There maybe other responses from folks who know more ..
but
is this linux?
and if so
did you ...recently upgrade the os ?
  if so you may need to recompile ffmpeg / ffprobe / ffplay

when i have updated ubuntu 14  to 16  I had to recompile my ff stuff
