Hi,

Why is the duration different (after a visual inspection)? 
=>I guess it's due to the fps or the time base (tbr, tbc, tbn) or the number of frame.
Has one file more content at the beginning? Or at the end?=>The 2 files have the same begining/end.
Or is a scene missing from one file?
Or are they simply different?=>Same episode/content, no missing scene.

Below more info, about the videos. Is there way to change video2_a.avi in order to apply "ffmpeg -i video2_ a.avi -filter:v "setpts=0.XXX*PTS" -qscale:v 1 video2_b.avi" (to have the same duration as video1_a.mp4 and use the audio of video1_a.mp4 with delay issue) ?
