Ah no, sorry, the problem is, that I have non-image data (vectors coordinates) that I want to press into an image with the yuv420p pixel format, so that I can encode them with ffmpeg and later decode them with NVDEC and get my original data.
So it is not really a question regarding ffmpeg, more like a step before that.
I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but I thought maybe someone has faced something similar.

Use -pix_fmt yuv420p to get ffmpeg to output images with that pixel
format, if you'd like to add an intermediate step for ffmpeg to
process your images.
I am most likely taking an overly simplistic approach to your question.
