Please elaborate, if the mjpeg demuxer is not
autodetected, force jpeg pipe with "-f jpeg_pipe".
(Or are these different files, not just jpeg?)

You are describing a missing feature, the concat demuxer does
not allow to forward options to the actual demuxers.
