Is not what I've said. What I'm saying is that besides the usual visual inspection (at equal rate - file size) of the content compressed with two difference codecs, it is also interesting to understand how far the coding efficiency of one codec is with respect to the one theoretically provided by the standard itself, i.e. the coding efficiency associated with the reference implementation (e.g. JM for H.264/AVC and HM for H.265/HEVC). This is something we've always done here in BBC and in MPEG/JCT-VC/VCEG.

I was referring to the fact that libturing can become faster and maybe more efficient in the coming months since we continuously developing it.
