Actual commands used to create the aforementioned files:

ffmpeg -i rtsp://10.12.1.71/stream1 -vcodec copy -t 180 /tmp/mankato.ts
ffmpeg -i rtsp://10.12.9.71/stream1 -vcodec copy -t 180 /tmp/lewisville.ts

Other than the fact that I limited the duration, and used a different naming convention for the file, yours and my commands should do the same thing (AFAIK).
