[FFmpeg-user] mac OS X avfoundation not listing audio devices

Thanks for that!
Actually the issue here was that this is an older mac and a previous version of ffmpeg (installed using macports) was still active and symlinked.  I missed the warnings from brew the first time round and so did not realise that I was in fact using the old version.
All good now - thanks for the help.
