Is this option necessary to reproduce the issue?

The audio stream is mono, same issue whether I have this option or not

Why are you using the bitstream filter?

Not exactly sure why, I seem to have more success with this option in the past so stuck with it. Maybe because I had been using older versions of ffmpeg however, would you recommend to try -c:a libvo_aacenc

Is the issue also reproducible without faststart?

Same issue with or without faststart
