That is NOT ffmpeg, it is not supported on this list. Please use ffmpeg
from http://www.ffmpeg.org/download.html (or have someone tell you
which repository provides the proper version for your Ubunto, as I
don't know.

If the target format supports that, it is quite okay to use ffmpeg for
that, though I agree if you mean there are probably(?) better tools if
you *only* want to change the metadata.
