[FFmpeg-user] Slicing a 4K video to images and then encoding them back using the same codec

Hi,
I am trying to slice a 4K video losslessly to frames , draw numbers on every frame(used matlab) and then recombine all the frames to create a nearly identical video.
Is it possible in ffmpeg , and how?
