[FFmpeg-user] Set Field Order - what is the primary syntax?

Hello,

what is the primary function to set the field order metadata in a video stream?
a.) -top   or
b.) -vf "setfield=..."

I tried to set the field order in a MOV file via "-top" but it did
not work. -vf "setfield=..." worked.

If I want to set the field order in a IMX MXF file, I can use both (a or b).

So I guess the main procedure to set the field order is the videofilter -vf "setfield=..."

Is this correct?
