[FFmpeg-user] --enable-freior ignored

Hello.
I notice that "typically" if I call out to enable something with
configure, and it "can't use it" it fails the configure script.

however, got a note that with
 --enable-frei0r and --enable-filter=frei0r
if it fails, it fails fails silently (other than posting a reference
to an unlocatable function in config.log), and therefore the frei0r
filter interface is not incorporated into libavfilter and FFmpeg.
