This looks old.

The issue is apparently (difficult to say without 
ffmpeg command and uncut console output) that 
signalstats does not support the same colourspaces 
as the histogram filter meaning scaling takes 
place (this should be shown with a higher loglevel, 
please believe me I was *very* unhappy when 
showing the actually used filterchain was made 
optional).
