in current HEAD, the QTKit and AVFoundation input devices are video only.
I've posted a patch for audio support for the AVFoundation device a while ago
that I could not yet polish up for commitment to HEAD.

You might try if this suits your needs. Unfotunately, I cannot tell when I will
have the time to work on committing it again.
