[FFmpeg-user] Smooth streaming zoetrope

Can anyone provide instructions on how to produce a smooth streaming zoetrope file? I assume the file will consist of multiple images concatenated into an ismv. 
Is a smooth streaming zoetrope just a slide show placed into a ismv?

Also does ismindex support generating a manifest file which also accounts for the zoetrope media file.
