Is it possible to use ffserver in conjunction with ffmpeg as an
ingestion service that transmits a still image to another server (like
Wowza) until it receives an (possibly authenticated) stream?


I'm looking to do something similar in concept to the "DJ" port with
the SHOUTcast v2 Transcoder, the transcoder sends a pre-configured
playlist of music until a "DJ" connects to it, then it sends the DJ's
audio until the DJ disconnects, and then the Transcoder goes back to
it's pre-configured playlist.
