[FFmpeg-user] stepping through a video frame by frame

Hi,

I take videos of birds with a MOBIUS camera, which 
creates 1980x1080 h264 (High) files.

The videos played with mplayer got stuttered periodically.
WIth ffply they just run fine.

With mplayer I can step frame by frame through the video.

Is this possible with ffplay also? How?
