i stopped rpmfusion in context of ffmpeg since they broke
MP4 some years ago with the excuse "otherwise we would need
to move it to the non-free-repo and depending packages too"

*but* Fedora 20 has a not that old x264-libs-0.138

my x264-latest lives under /usr/local on the buildmachine
and is statically linked to ffmpeg-latest, in one of my
previous posts you see how ffmpeg is built here

ffmpeg-latest-2.2.4-4.fc20.20140625.rh.x86_64
x264-latest-0.142.2431-3.fc20.20140625.rh.x86_64
