[FFmpeg-user] Do we need to go with DTS/PTS calculation if i need to display only video?

I am in the process of capturing video from IPed camera, and display to
SDL.


I followed dranger tutorial02.c, and it works fine for some mobile
vendors[ex:samsung], and does not work in HTC.  What i want to know is
does DTS/PTS calcuation require if it is enough to capture only video?
