With FFplay? Or did you test another application?

Nearly all users would find it extremely annoying if 
this command line would suddenly produce different 
output.

Why can't you simply convert to R10k?
Or do you mean the file above does not play with 
applications that are not FFmpeg-based? In this 
case, I would like to find out why.
