don't get me wrong but until now ffmpeg is on top 1 in
case of build-warnings given that i build a lot of
larger software from source

C/C++ is not my personal programming language

but in case of PHP, the on i use (with all it's dirt) for
the last decade i run E_ALL/E_STRICT as error reporting
with summary mails of any server i maintian twice each hour

anything which is reported there is fixed because that is my point
of view of clean work - and no, nobody is paying me for that too

i could easily supress warnings in the config and only hunt bugs
which users faced - i prefer to fix things before complaints :-)
