[FFmpeg-user] analyze duration takes too long

I am trying to transcode live stream with ffmpeg but ffmpeg takes too long
time to start encoding. Is there any way to reduce startup time for example
defining input stream's codecs.. etc? or does it make a difference?
Input stream mpegts and output to h264/avc. I am getting stream by http
unicast, does multicast make any difference?
