This is simply impossible, please try to read something 
about audio encoding.
(I cannot really explain.)

Depending on how you mean it, this is of course possible.
(But since wav usually contains lossless codecs, it makes 
no difference if you convert to wav and then to another 
file format or to any other file format directly.)
