As does:-

 ffmpeg_Jan-24 -i in.mov -frames 40000 -y  -map 0:v -map 0:a -c:v prores
-profile:v 3 -c:a copy out.mov

and also:-

ffmpeg_Jan-24 -i in.mov -frames 40000 -y  -map 0:v -map 0:a -c:v
rawvideo -pix_fmt uyvy422 -c:a copy out.mov

but not:-

ffmpeg_Jan-24 -i in.mov -frames 40000 -y  -map 0:v -map 0:a -c:v
rawvideo -pix_fmt uyvy422 -an out.mov

which completes OK.
