It works with VLC and ffplay. Which makes sense since we're just
copying into another file, while the problem is when I slice the file.

Could it be that the second slice doesn't fall at an I-frame or
something like that?

Am I the only person in the list who 1) uses the Windows binary and 2)
has a file with no sound after slicing an MP4 video?
